Head updates the Extreme Team for 2022 — turning the frame into the ultimate spin-machine for tournament players. Head has added the Extreme Team with state-of-the-art Auxetic technology, helping you to spin big and create chaos. Auxetic constructions show a unique deformation compared to non-Auxetic constructions. Due to their internal properties, Auxetic constructions widen when a “pull” force is applied and contract when squeezed. The bigger the applied force, the bigger the Auxetic reaction. The new Extreme racquet line is endorsed by Matteo Berrettini.

The Extreme Team features Head’s “Spin Shaft” which provides optimized lateral stability, creating higher spin potential. Along with a shaft that helps create extra spin, the Extreme Team has unique spin grommets which allow more string movement and a powerful trampoline effect on impact with the ball. Head strategically positioned Graphene which strengthens the frame, provides greater stability and optimizes energy transfer from racquet to ball. Head’s Extreme performance frames come with a fresh, daring design.

The Extreme Team fits a wider range of players than the Tour thanks to its 100 square inch head, lighter 10.3 ounce strung weight and open 16×19 string pattern making it a lighter and more powerful Extreme racquet for beginners to intermediate players.
